Call to Artists: Halifax Mural Festival for InterCHANGE 2026

This opportunity is for a mural facilitated by the Halifax Mural Festival to be included in the InterCHANGE Temporary Public Art Gallery. InterCHANGE is a pilot collaboration between the HRM and IOTA studios to produce a series of temporary art opportunities within the Cogswell District.

On the horizon is a massive full moon rising, and a sun rising above it. Beyond the moon and sun is a high rise apartment building with clotheslines on the fire escapes, there are shooting stars in the sky and in the top left there is three floating red pixellated video game hearts.

The Halifax Regional Municipality and IOTA Studios welcomes artists based in Canada to apply for a new program of temporary public art works within the redeveloped Cogswell District titled InterCHANGE.
